| Product Description: Can be highly effective in controlling nuisance barking - your own dog or your neighbour's dog. Using a built-in microphone this innovation senses barking and then triggers a loud high frequency (ultrasonic) tone which is inaudible to humans but not to dogs. Dogs learn to associate their barking with the loud, surprising noise. * Can be effective to control your own dog, or to help stop the neighbour's dog barking. * Once the barking ceases, the tone stops automatically.
* The tone selector allows you to adjust the sensor to increase effectiveness and minimise false triggers. Includes: mains adapter with30ft (10m) low voltage cable, a weather resistant cover and multi-adjust wall bracket. Note: Not recommended for indoor use: if you're wanting a product to use indoors, you'll need to use a collar. This is because the ultrasound noise emitted by these devices will not pass effectively throughout the enclosed areas of a house. A collar will of course stay with the dog and will therefore be effective throughout the house. Coverage: generally covers an oval area approx 15m wide by 24 metres long. Buildings and dense shrubbery may block the sounds. As with all products involving animal behaviour, results vary from one dog to another: whilst many dogs are trained quickly, some need more patience and perseverence and in rare cases the results may be less than totally effective. |
