| Following the largest study of its kind ever undertaken in the UK, FOXWatch is now the only fox deterrent, scientifically tested and recommended
The sensor detects movement up to 12 metres (40ft) away and emits a high pitched sound (silent to humans) in a wide 100 degree arc, which is pitched specifically at a fox's hearing frequency. The ultrasonic is thought to be effective at 18m (60ft). This means that the unit won't be activated until the fox is within 30ft, but once the fox turns and exits, it will still hear the noise up to 60ft away. Of course, as with all methods involving animal behaviour, we can’t guarantee effectiveness in every situation, however, our own experience and the feedback we get from customers suggests that this device is effective in almost all situations. If you need more advice on how to get the best out of the product, don’t hesitate to give us a call.
Unit height 14.5cm. Uses one 9 volt battery (optional) or a mains adaptor (available separately). The mains adaptor has 9m of cable, with an additional 10m also available. The cable is thin bell wire-type, meaning it can often be plugged indoors and slipped below some doors or windows. Because it's at low voltage, the cable is fine and no-risk for outdoors. The mains adaptor is the plug type (like most mobile phone adaptors, the adaptor is the plug), so this may make it impossible to fit into some outdoor sockets. Consider an outdoor electrical box.
Comes with a positioning stake, or can be attached to a nail in a fence.

Product: Foxwatch
Testers individual opinions
The fact that I can put it out into the garden and forget about it is great. Foxwatch has kept my back garden clear of Foxes for nearly a year now. They did come back at one point and on
closer examination I found the Foxwatch had been turned off by mistake. Once I put it back on the Foxes
stayed away.
Mr Longman from Croydon told us;
Anyone who has a problem with Foxes has got to try a Foxwatch. It really does work. I found it easier to use the adaptor kit and run it from the mains than using a battery as I had to change it after 12 weeks. But the good news is I have not had to clean up around the dustbins for months.
Mr Williams from Saffron Walden said;
We had awful problems with Foxes. We had just put down a new lawn and they kept pulling it up by running around the garden, as well as leaving some nasty mess to clean up. Since we put the Foxwatch in the garden the problem has stopped.
Mrs Bourner from Yarm.
THIS PRODUCT USES THE SAME POWER ADAPTOR AS OUR CATWATCH PRODUCT.
