Four 'AA' batteries will be needed to power the sensor and battery life depends on how many times the device is activated, but they typically last 3-4 months assuming 10 activations per day. Batteries aren't supplied as standard, but we can supply 4 x AA batteries with the product (see above options). Also see our model heron: herons are highly territorial in their feeding-grounds, hence the reason why model herons often prove effective deterrents - and this one is a particularly fine ornament that would grace many a pond-side.
